New Arrivals

Furniture, homeware and the workshop pieces that don't fit either.

Built the way it is, for reasons we can name

  • All eco-certified
  • Product protection
  • Make it yours
  • Unique tailored

  • Comfortable

The dining chair is available in natural or smoked oak, with a seat you can sit in for a whole evening.

  • Price transparency

One price, listed on the page. No hidden freight, no markup for a finish you did not ask for.

  • Made to last

Solid timber frames and joinery that comes apart, so a repair is a repair rather than a replacement.

  • Sustainability

Timber from two mills within a day's drive, dressed in the workshop. Off-cuts become stools.

Nothing is finished with lacquer.

Oil and wax only, so a surface can be repaired rather than replaced.

We work with two mills, both within a day's drive. Timber arrives rough sawn and is dressed in the workshop. Off-cuts become stools. Expect the colour to deepen over the first year.

Testimonials

  • The chair arrived flat-packed in three parts and went together with the hex key in the box. Two years in, the oak has gone the colour they said it would.
    Rebecca Toh Fremantle
  • I asked which mill the timber came from and got an answer the same day, with the name of the person who dressed it.
    Daniel Achterberg Mount Lawley
  • We spilled most of a bottle of red on the dining table. A cloth, a little oil, and you cannot find the mark.
    Priya Raman Cottesloe
  • Ordered the sofa in flax linen after they posted the swatch out. It is the same colour in the room as it was on the kitchen bench.
    Tom Whitfield South Fremantle
  • The daybed came in three pieces and one hex key. My partner and I had it together before the kettle boiled, and it has not needed tightening since.
    Nadia Christodoulou North Perth
  • They told me the week it would leave the workshop and it left that week. I have bought furniture from bigger places and never had that.
    Michael Osei Subiaco
  • I asked whether the bookshelf could be shortened by one shelf. It could, and the price went down rather than up.
    Harriet Boyle Claremont
  • Six months of a west-facing window and the oak has warmed rather than bleached. Exactly what the care card said would happen.
